All-New 3.0L Duramax Engine Offers Super Fuel Efficiency For 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500

2020 Chevrolet Silverado with 3.0L Duramax engine

You already know you can expect impressive power and capability from the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 lineup of pickup trucks.  Did you know you can also expect excellent fuel efficiency when you choose the all-new 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine?  This available engine will deliver an EPA-estimated 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway in the rear-wheel-drive models.  The 4-wheel drive has only slightly reduced highway efficiency with an estimated 29 mpg.

This engine will provide plenty of power too, with 460 lb-ft of torque and 277 hp.  On the four-wheel-drive model this gives the driver an impressive towing capability of up to 9,300 pounds.  It uses state-of-the-art technology to effectively use every drop of fuel to provide the performance you expect from a full-size pickup truck while delivering on fuel efficiency you expect from a family sedan.

The 2020 Chevy Silverado with this 3.0L Duramax engine is designed to deliver both performance and efficiency.  This is the first diesel offering on one of Chevrolet's light-duty trucks in over 10 years.  Emich Chevrolet is excitedly looking forward to the release of this efficient engine option for the Silverado.  It is expected to arrive at dealerships in Fall 2019, so contact us and let us know you are interested in test driving this pickup truck as soon as one arrives at our Denver area dealership.
