2016 Chevrolet Camaro Offers New Powertrain Options

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro offers an exciting variety of powertrain options that encourage a buyer to customize their driving experience.  There are three engine options:  Ecotec 2.0L Turbo, 3.6L V-6, and LT1 6.2L V-8.  These can be matched with either a six-speed manual transmission or all-new eight-speed automatic transmission.

Chevrolet revealed the all-new 2016 Camaro on May 16 in Detroit.  The 2016 Camaro offers a sculpted exterior which creates reduced aerodynamic lift.  The new design offers a faster, more nimble driving experience.   The all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be available later this year!

Chevrolet Sonic Named to Coolest Cars List

The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic has made the KBB.com's 10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000 List.  The list represents cars considered fun to own and fun to drive.  The Sonic was included because it is fun around town and also comfortable on the highway.  In addition it has the lowest starting sticker price of any of the vehicles on the list.

Chevrolet Sonic Named IIHS Top Safety Pick

The midyear 2015 Chevrolet Sonic (those built after February 2015) has been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick.  The Sonic received 'Good' ratings in all five crash-worthiness evaluations.  The 'Good' rating is the highest possible in each test.

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Offers Improved Aerodynamics

The aerodynamics team working on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro went to great lengths testing out a variety of options aimed at improving the aerodynamics of the soon-to-be revealed all-new Camaro.  That meant putting the Camaro through approximately 350 hours of wind tunnel testing.  The results are worth it since the improved aerodynamics offer improved performance, stability, cooling, and lower wind noise intrusion.  Features such as a flush belly pan reduce total lift by 30% and reduces aerodynamic drag.  

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be revealed to the public at an event in Detroit on May 16.

Chevrolet to Produce Midnight Edition Impala

Chevrolet will produce a Midnight Edition Impala based on a concept displayed at the 2014 SEMA Show.  The blacked-out package includes:

• Jet Black exterior, including body color mirrors
• 19-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels with black accents
• Black grille and surround
• Front and rear black Chevrolet bowtie
• Jet Black interior
• Sport pedals
• Black rear spoiler

It will be available on the 1LT, 2LT, and LTZ trim levels.  Though a few 2015s will be produced with the package, most will be available on the 2016 model year.
