2016 Chevrolet Camaro Now Available at Emich Chevrolet

This Colorado Chevrolet dealer is pleased to announce the arrival of the 2016 Chevy Camaro.  The 2016 Chevy Camaro has been re-engineered and redesigned to look smoother and work harder.  It has been named Motor Trend’s 2016 “Car of the Year”. The new 2016 Chevy Camaro is also loaded with a variety of fun techie gadgets and features to make this fantastic car even more amazing. Colorado Chevy Camaro buyers have an option of 4 different trim levels for the new 2016 Camaro. There is the 1LT (MSRP $25,700), the 2LT (MSRP $29,800), the 1SS (MSRP 36,300), and the 2SS (MSRP $41,300). Each of these trim levels has many standard features plus a variety of optional features. Some of the

standard features include Bose premium 7-speaker system, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, and OnStar® Guidance Plan for 6 months. Some of the additional goodies that can be added on are a power sunroof, rear park assist, head-up display, and a remote vehicle starter system.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has three different engine types available depending on the trim level selected. These engine types are:

* 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine

* 3.6L V6 engine

* 6.2L V8 engine (only available on the SS trim levels)

For the LT trim levels, there is also an optional engine block heater which is designed for sure starts on brutally cold mornings.  The plug-in heater keeps the block warm and the engine oil flowing freely, even at subzero temperatures.

The 2016 Chevy Camaro can come in both a manual and an automatic transmission. The manual is a 6-speed which includes a limited slip differential and the SS models include Active Rev Matching. The automatic transmission is an 8-speed which includes a transmission oil cooler, Active Fuel Management (with SS models and when paired with the 3.6L engine on LT model), and paddle-shift manual controls that lets you change gears on-demand.

Each of the trim levels for the 2016 Chevy Camaro has the same sporty suspension, gered toward the high performance of this vehicle. Each of the trim levels also comes with StabiliTrak, which is a stability control system with brake assist.

The 2016 Chevy Camaro has many standard and optional safety features to make the driving experience safer. The standard features include LED daytime running lamps, LATCH child safety system, rear vision camera, and OnStar Basic Plan for 5 years. Additional features include rear-cross traffic alert, rear park assist, and a side blind zone alert.

Chevrolet Malibu and Silverado Make Most Searched For List

Two Chevrolet vehicles have topped the list of most searched for vehicles on Google for 2015.  Google's Year in Search 2015 included the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu as the most searched for car and the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado as the most searched for truck.  In addition, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and 2016 Chevrolet Colorado were also in the Top 10 most searched for vehicles.

Chevrolet Named in Ward's 10 Best Engine Awards

Two Chevrolet engines/ propulsion systems have been named to the Ward's 10 Best Engines list.  WardsAuto evaluated 31 engines from 11 automakers to choose the best.  They are reviewed based on power, fuel efficiency, new technology, and refinement.  

Chevrolet's award-winners are the all-new 3.6L V6 and Voltec propulsion system.  The 3.6L V6 is available on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and the Voltect propulsion system is found on the 2016 Chevrolet Volt.

Lighter 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Offers Improved Performance

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Offers New Powertrain Options

Chevrolet revealed the all-new 2016 Camaro on May 16 in Detroit.  The 2016 Camaro offers a sculpted exterior which creates reduced aerodynamic lift.  The new design offers a faster, more nimble driving experience.   The all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be available later this year!

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Offers Improved Aerodynamics

The aerodynamics team working on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro went to great lengths testing out a variety of options aimed at improving the aerodynamics of the soon-to-be revealed all-new Camaro.  That meant putting the Camaro through approximately 350 hours of wind tunnel testing.  The results are worth it since the improved aerodynamics offer improved performance, stability, cooling, and lower wind noise intrusion.  Features such as a flush belly pan reduce total lift by 30% and reduces aerodynamic drag.  

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be revealed to the public at an event in Detroit on May 16.

Chevrolet Reveals Details of Camaro Exterior

Chevrolet has released a few images of the exterior of the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.  As you can see from the images, the new exterior design is more form fitting around the mechanical components.  This gives the 2016 Camaro a more athletic design.  The all-new Camaro will be revealed May 16th in Detroit.

Chevrolet Camaro Technology Allows Tailored Driving Experience

The all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro offers technology that allows a tailored driving experience.  The new Drive Mode selector offers Snow / Ice, Tour, and Sport modes, plus the SS model adds a Track setting.  The SS will also be available with Magnetic Ride Control. 

Chevrolet will introduce the 2016 Camaro on Saturday, May 16 at an event in Detroit.

Reduced Weight Improves Performance of Sixth Generation Camaro

The sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro sheds 200 pounds from the previous generation.  The reduced mass of the all-new Camaro leads to improved handling, acceleration, and fuel economy.  The 2016 Camaro will be revealed at an event in Detroit on May 16.

Chevrolet Announces Unveiling of 2016 Camaro

Chevrolet has announced their plan to unveil the 2016 Camaro on May 16th.  The event will be held at Detroit's Belle Isle.  About 1000 spectators are expected for the revealing of the sixth-generation Camaro.  Read more about the event here.
