According to Chevrolet, the 2017 Chevy Camaro presents a “new era in performance”. The new Camaro is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style with a sleeker, eye-catching design. With finer lines, three available powertrains, and many intelligent features, the brand new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro is a great option for anyone looking for an affordable, powerful, and attractive sports car.

Colorado Chevy Camaro buyers have an option of two body styles – the coupe and the convertible. For each body style, there are 4 different trim levels to choose from. These are the 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. Each of these trim levels has an impressive list of features,  both optional and standard. This list includes Bose® premium audio system, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Chevrolet MyLink®, 6-way power-adjustable passenger seat, 8-way power driver seat adjuster, OnStar Guidance plan, Head-Up Display, remote vehicle starter system, universal home remote, wireless charging, and much more.

Depending on the trim level chosen, Colorado Chevy Camaro buyers will enjoy either a sport suspension or a performance suspension. On top of those options, there is an optional suspension enhancer that one can add on which is Magnetic Ride Control™. Each suspension comes with StabiliTrak.  

The 2017 Chevy Camaro has three different engine options. These engine types are:

* 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder SIDI engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT)

* 6.2L V8 Direct Injection engine

* 3.6L V6 Direct Injection engine with Variable Valve Timing

Each of these powerful engines offer many benefits.  In addition, there are also optional engine block heaters and engine coolers that can be added on.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro is available in both a manual and an automatic transmission. The manual is a 6-speed which includes a limited slip differential and the SS models include Active Rev Matching. The automatic transmission is an 8-speed which includes paddle-shift manual controls that let you change gears on-demand.

Safety is not optional on the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The brand new model has a list of safety features that any driver would appreciate in their car. Chevolet Camaro SS to Pace Indianapolis 500

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition has been chosen as the pace car for this year's Indianapolis 500.  The pace car will be driven by team owner Roger Penske.  This will mark the 9th time that Chevrolet Camaro has been the Indianapolis 500 pace car.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition will be available on the 2LT and 2SS coupe and convertible models.  It will have a Nightfall Gray Metallic exterior (the Pace Car is Abalone White instead) and will feature a 50th Anniversary stripe package and badges.
