Chevrolet Malibu Brings Standard Stop/Start Technology to Sedan Market

2014 Chevrolet Malibu

The 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet Malibu is helping America save fuel by bringing fuel-efficient stop/start technology to the mainstream sedan market.  Stop/start technology automatically shuts off the engine when the car comes to a stop, such as at a traffic light.  The engine restarts when the driver takes their foot off the brake.  This is all done in the blink of an eye!  That may explain why 97% of those who purchased the 2014 or 2015 Chevrolet Malibu chose the 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder base engine with standard stop/start technology.

Stop by Emich Chevrolet to learn more about the 2014 or 2015 Chevrolet Malibu and stop/start technology.
